The water pump will have to be sent away to be rebuilt, unless you rebuild it yourself. I had to do the same for my 54 F100 with the 239 Yblock. Since the 55 and 56 water pumps were different and the 54 was a one year pump, rebuilt ones are not out there. Show us some pictures of this 54 F500.

If you can wait until Spring Carlisle in April, you should order from a vendor that will be at the show and have them bring it with them to Carlisle. Then you pick it up there. I know Midwest Early Ford does this as well as Dennis Carpenter. Where in NE PA are you?
