Can a 1940 Frame be used for a 1936 Cabriolet??

So I'm looking at both a '36 Cabriolet complete project, and a running and driving chassis for a 1940 sedan. I'm aware somethings won't be the same, different fuel tank, radiator mount brackets, body mounting holes. My question is how different the two frames are? What did Ford add to the '36...

    Fog King Fog lights

I know earlier ones were not sealed beams, they were the lens and reflector type. I read they moved to sealed beams in the early 40s.

    Fog King Fog lights

Did someone reproduce the Fog King lights? I have a couple and two of them have tags riveted to the top, rather than the usual stamped lettering. It looks to have original cloth wire. Not a lot of info out there on em. I'd appreciate any help, Thanks -Andrew

1936 Sedan front fender braces. Pictures anyone?

I'm about to throw it all together for a mockup and I think I'm missing the front fender braces. This is my first fat fender car and don't really know where and how they mount. Does anybody have any pictures showing it all together?? I assume the hole at the top is where the headlight mounts...

1936 Sedan radiator mounting position, which holes do I use

Building a '36 slantback and this is first experience with these cars. Car did not come with radiator or mounts. I have new mounting kits on the way along with the upper support rods from the cowl. My question is which set of holes does the bottom of the radiator mount to? Is it the angled holes...

Running a '40 swaybar on my '36, am I doing this right?

So I'm running a '40 axel and wishbones on my '36 sedan. It came with a sway bar and I've decided to run that too. I've split the wishbones and I'm getting ready to heat them up and move them to match the shackles, and i just want to make sure I'm doing this right. The instructions that came...

    Will a '40 sway bar fit on a '36??

What tool do I need to remove and install the new pins that go into the perch bolts? I've read that it isn't an easy job.

    Will a '40 sway bar fit on a '36??

My '36 project came with a 1940 front end. I was curious if anyone has ran the sway bar? If there were any downsides or if it was even worth the trouble. I think I would need new pins for the perches as one is really beat up and missing threads. Im in the middle of splitting the wishbone and...

2 door '36 Slantback garnish moldings PLEASE HELP

So when I bought the car it had all the interior garnish moldings. For shits and giggles the other day I went to make sure they all fit and it looks like the door and side rears are both the same. I have 2 lefts and 2 rights. They went into the rear 1/4s just fine but didn't really want to set...
