We have a 23 Touring and this year started experiencing water in the oil and transmission. Car is drained of water during the winter months. Any suggestions on what we can look for.

Robert our 5 window had same issues front spring cracked , rear was also cracked , replaced both and still leaned looked at rear end panel under the rumble lid and that piece is out of line so it makes the car look uneven . I need to figure out how to aling this piece so the car does look level...

Going to replace the spring pack . How many leafs we're in the orig pack ? Right now I can count about a leafs , but I've heard they never did an 8 leaf . I have a used spring pack that has 12 leafs but it seems too thick like 10 would be better according to the tape measure . Any comments or...

Thanks for the replies . I ended up using some longer upholstery Brads which seemed to work very well . I thought that the quality of the kit was ok , time will tell as to how long they hold up , just happy to have a working rear window . One other thing how important are the plastic or Bakelite...

Hey Lou we also have a 5 window that I have apart to put safety glass in therear window . on the pass side there is a sheet metal cap with a hose elbow coming out for the hose to go through the floor . I will try to get some measurements and a picture of it tomorrow . Still not having much luck...

Thanks guys . Mike original motor aluminum intake and 2 barrel carb presure reg at carb set at 2.5 # . Cleaned and sealed tank also last year . Pete I will check that out as when I pulled the front spring not only were leaves cracked but the bolt was broke also .
