I am assuming you are talking about connecting rods? To me the most notable difference is the 91a has cassel nuts and cotter keys and the 21a maybe a little more metal on the big end. Eddie

I think your problem is the radial tires. The wheels flex enough with the radials to pop the wheel covers off. I had the same problem.

Look and see if your engine has a two piece oil pan. If it does remove the rear part . This will give you room to unbolt the pressure plate. If your engine does not have a two piece oil pan you will have to remove the oil pan completely. The 59a engine is truck motor and probably has an 11...

They tend to look better nonpainted. Paint won't stick to rubber. It's easier not to paint the factory rubber since they are not stapled on. Eddie

For the soleinoid to fit the convertible frame you will need the adaptor made to clear the x member of the frame. I think that is a 49 and 50 only and is hard to come by. Good luck. Eddie
