That's a pretty car. Can't say I disagree with his plans for it. Nothing really that can't be undone and returned to stock. Definitely agree with getting rid of the diving platform in the rear. Hey, at least he's not planning a LS swap!

A '57 4bbl manifold and carb would be a decent upgrade. Be sure to also swap your distributor to a 57 or later unit as well if you go that route. The old teapot carb can be a good performer if it's rebuilt correctly. Check out the Hot Rod Reverend's page for some tips on that...

set of 4 dog dish caps. Paint is fresh. Not show quality but they'll look great on a driver. All have some small scratches.

Which Y-block book do you have? The old Eickman book? If so do yourself a favor and get the book by Charlie Morris.

I've used a Napa Commercial 29NF in my '60 F100 (292) for years with no issues.
