Re: Fuel gauge isn’t correct
I don’t think I do have it but that one was way off also, when I had a full tank it only went to half a tank, it never went to full
Fuel gauge isn’t correct
Hey guys,
My fuel gauge has never been correct. I had the original sender in it and changed it with a new one. The new one though had the wire that goes to the gauge and to a ground (I think electrical isn’t my strong suit) I hooked up the new sender and it varies on...
Thanks tubman, I was just curious. I was there wouldn't be a big performance upgrade for a teapot but just been thinking about it as of late. I really don't have any issues with mine now so I was debating on changing it if there was anyways. Ill look into the manifold though
I know everyone says to throw them away but I haven't had much issue with mine. My question is, is there a way to kind of hop them up alittle bit? I have looked around and haven't seen much of it. I plan on upgrading down the road but was just curious if anyone has modified them to get alittle...
Hey guys,
I got an a team performance ready to run distributor from southwest performance and have been having issues. I have been i contact with their tech support but they are absolutely no help at all. Anyways my issue is at steady high rpms I have a stumble and if I line the dot on the crank...
Update, I found the ground wire in the distributor only holding together with a couple strands of wire. Fixed that and reset timing, runs alot better but still have some stumbling on acceleration more at higher rpms though so I'm still trying to figure out whats going on there but im happy im...
I never had the advance hooked up before and it ran great. But yeah now if I hook the advance line up before start it just cranks, if i hook it up while running it dies
I replaced the distributor cap and the capacitor when I did the points. And i did replace the vacuum advance canister but thats another issue, when its hooked up it cranks but doesn't start
I'm having issues on acceleration, it just spits and sputters. I have replaced the 6 volt to a 12 volt system 2 years ago, this started happening about 3 months ago and I have been chasing my tail. I rebuilt the carburetor (teapot) and had the alternator rebuilt because it wasnt charging. Still...
