No it's a Coronado kit, the Continental kit is the one requiring an extended bumper, the Coronado kit is bolted on the trunk lid. Cool Merc by the way !

Removed the rad, got it repaired. Had the car on the lift, all mounts seem ok both rad mounts and transmission mounts. Fan pulley bearing ok nothing moving there. We fixed the rad and reinstalled it, good clearance everywhere between fan & rad. Started the engine, everything was good, we reved...

Ford freak, I took the rad out today and see no signs of foreign objects. The pully and fan are both tight and show no sign of movement. there should be three bolts on each side of the rad, the driver side only had two, the bottom one was not there. I recently purchased this car so I'm not sure...

Thanks 19Forty and G.M., The retainer mentioned by 19 Forty seems to hold the shaft in place but not the pulley. you are probably right G.M. I will order a new pulley to see if we could press fit it, if it's still loose it has to be a worn shaft !

I removed the belts today on my 1950 F1 and realized that the driver side water pump pulley moves freely back and forth on the shaft. The passenger side pulley however seems to be held firmly in place. I can't see anything that could hold the driver side pulley in place, am I missing a retaining...
