Does the filter sit in oil all the time or only when the car is running? I need to pull it off and I want to avoid making a mess unnecessarily.
Thanks, Brian
What brand tank/cap is everyone going with? My goal would be a solution that I could remove (I don't want to drill any holes). Pics would be great.
Thanks!

Yes Sir that’s it…for clear coated cars it works great…I use a clay mit before I apply it…I need to do more research on non-clear coated cars…my ‘50 will only see sunny days so the set it and forget it aspect of the 5 year product is appealing

Google - "Most professional detailers swear by using a polishing compound and orbital polishers as the best way to remove a newer ceramic coating"
Doing a quick search I don't think that is an issue...the benefit of protecting the paint far outweighs it...many folks send their new cars right...
I use the Griots Ceramic Spray on everything else...thinking about getting the car detailed/ceramic once it's back from the shop for it's spring debut (only took 30 years)...wasn't sure if there was anything negative concerning the paint
