4.5 imperial quarts fills my F1 8BA (stock dipstick) after an oil filter cartridge change, which includes emptying the canister. 4.5 Imp quarts on the convertor = 5.4 US quarts.

I use a Ryco R4P in my 8BA canister, which is the same as what I used in the canister on my 81A motor. Get it from Supercheap Auto though: $38.98 compared with well over $60 at Repco ... May be cheaper again to import.

I have had an 11 inch in my 49 F1 for the past 45 years because that is what it came with. Clutch pedal pressure feels right to me ... and no noticeable difference in pedal pressure to anything else I've driven.

3.54 differential and 6:50 16's in my 49 pickup with a 265 8BA and heavy duty 3-speed gearbox. Having previously had 4.27 and 3.78 differentials fitted, I've found the 3.54 the best combination of low end torque and suitable cruise RPM.
