on a sad note Tony"s Donuts closed a couple months ago but.....the Holy Donut makes a nice bacon cheddar donut if you stop back around these parts.
By the way Tim Ford where art thou:confused:
Flatheads well represented yesterday, a very good day for a show in the beach parking lot for late October. This was the 17th annual and will be on the radar next year.
Had to add the pictures of the Pantera;)
Re: Spot the Fords starting in 1903 …
We have some great examples of those @ the seal cove auto museum, yes they are works of art. There is a pretty good virtual tour on the website.
H2O pump hoses to radiator, who sells the better quality ones. I need to replace mine when the 39 is put away this fall, any suggestions would be great.
It is not an original radiator, its a custom Brass works radiator with an auxillary fan mounted on the engine side. That radiator cap is what I got with that radiator.
Just checked Brass Works website, Hmmm...well seems they are available in 4-7-10-13 & 16 psi options, will locate a 4-5 psi on...
Well...Ken the cap says 13 lbs, I'll be honest I have not touched anything on this truck except an oil change after the initial break-in.
Walt Dupont did a great job on this motor and runs so good I really only check fluid levels and air up the tires and go.
I will be going over this truck...
That's a great tip using the shellac Mike, will do that on both the 39 and 77 when that radiator is back from the shop.
And as always thanks Pete for the bigger pics.
Come on Tim, Model T's do not leak oil...they drip:D Steve has you on the right track, It's almost september how did you make out?
My 26 had a weep from the valve cover gasket "inspection plate". A new gasket and some black RTV coated on both sides of the gasket corrected that problem.
After a pretty nice 30 miles I got back and parked to grab a bite and when I went back outside noticed my drive way now green under the peeeekup. The left side hose poped off, thankfully in the driveway.
Later cleaned things up and gave it a long overdue washing, purring like it should again...
