It’s been a few years since I dissembled my 37 and can’t remember where these go. Can anyone help?

Here are several shots of the progress I’ve made on my 37. Fitting the doors now. A little tweaking left on the door gaps and skimming of the chop welds. Hope to start painting this fall. Engine runs fine.

Is there a replacement bushing used when replacing the rear end drive gear as well as for the right differential case? None is shown in the parts manual.

What vehicle was the 3.55 ratio used in. I purchased, what I thought was, a 3.54 set from a Barn member but it had a 32 tooth gear and 9 tooth pinion. It’s a new set and apparently came from Speedway. But they don’t list a 3.55.

Looking for a good 3.54 gear set for the 35-48. It would be a six spline pinion shaft.

Thanks, guys, for the info. I have found out that this is a special gear set cut down for the 33-34 rear ends so won’t work in mine.

I’m changing my 39, 3.78 ratio rear end to a 3.54. I purchased a new 3.54 gear set from a Barn member. While installing new bearings I find the pinion shaft has a smaller diameter than the 3.78 shaft. In doing a little research l see there two different part numbers for the 3.54. Looks like...
