For what it's worth, I just had my off-topic 2002 Silverado extended cab pickup repainted a month ago. It was black and the clear went bad. It had a few dings too that needed repair. I took it to a local body shop and they stripped the roof (where the clear was really bad. They fixed the dents...

Some of those heaps literally wave at you as the camera pans them. Man, a big screen HD TV shows every flaw. But, it's just TV so, when I get bored, I go back out in the shop or change the channel.

For the most part, I thought Army chow was pretty good. The 1949 c-rats left a bit to be desired though. :D

My hot rod breakfast group has been going to Breakfast Station in Spring Hill. Awesome grub and ok prices. We're just thinking of trying some other places for variety. How's that place (Thousand Island?). We may give that a try too. Haven't seen you fellas in ages.

I had Newport wipers on my '39 coupe. They worked great. There was one drawback; the wiper motor is so large, it goes through the headliner and into the cab. I had to have the upholstery guy make a "box" of sorts to cover it. Once it was covered, it sort of went away. It wasn't a huge deal to me...
