Mine were packaged wrong and fit about like your picture shows. Returned them and received the right ones that fit tight against the glass. Still a ***** to install!
I have an 8BA in a '38 Standard Tudor. Truck water pumps/ motor mounts, stock exhaust manifolds (now Fenton headers), T-5 transmission, Walker radiator, electric fan and shroud. No problems what-so-ever.
I am currently running 3.25 gears with a 5-speed behind a '49 8BA in a '38 Standard Tudor. Runs away from most of my buddie's street rods on the open road and with the 5-speed I can run well on city streets. Love it!
Does anyone have experience with progressive linkage on a 2/94 setup on a stock 8BA with an offenhauser intake? On the road is great, around town runs rich. Originally set up by Jere Jobe with positive linkage.
