What are these 34 Cab floor holes for?

Mine extend into hole 3/4", just enough to get a wood screw through the tab so they don't rattle.

F100 steering box in 34 pickup

I did this very swap on my '34 pick-up a LONG time ago. I had the original steering box and the f100 for fit and comparison. I remember that I milled off (I'm a machinist) part of the f100 box (disassembled) mounting flange at a slight angle. It took more than a couple of tries to get the angle...

    1935-37 LED Headlights

Here's what I found, I already had halogen (no relay) dim at idle, ok at speed. While searching for relay kit on ebay, bumped into a LED conversion. Bought both. I don't remember the brand, but turns out they had the same reflectors, same pigtails. Installed LED and never looked back, just...

    Just asking

I also bought a spot welder from harbor freight (220v) and found that all the areas of contact need to be freshly sanded between pieces and electrodes. Clamp pressure adjustment and switch on time need to be practiced. Electrode tips also need occasional clean up too.

    Epay

jimTN, the listings on bid and buy now are separated (didn't used to be) even though all listings is checked. I usually only look a day ahead on bid group, then go to bottom of page and move 3,4,5,10 pages and to find beginning of buy now group.

    34 pickup steering column mount

As I remember, I replaced the dash board to column bolts with Allen bolts. Easier to install I think.

Looking for some information on a 1934 Ford cowl band

Yes, moves the hood 7/8" forward. And move the radiator, hood latches won't line up, splash apron, etc. Bought one, can't use it on my p-kup. Thinking maybe it's for a firetruck, or bus.

    34 pickup cab assembly question

I had the roof off of my cab last summer, same question. Friction tape was my first thought but didn't want the sticky. I ended up using fender welt, minus the bead.

    STOLEN RODSTER north of Denver

Local Denver TV station aired report about theft and recovery. Very few details about recovery except it was found in a garage, little damage. Duane is very happy.
