I came across a Zenith Carb that has the letter "G" just above Zenith. It also has an adjustment on the main jet in place of the plug. Anyone know anything about this carburator?

Yep, you use a closed car windwing with a "L" bracket that screws to the upper window post and extends back , the upper bracket attaches to it. Sorry I don't have a picture. You might contact the Cabriolet club and see if they have the bracket.

I repair Model A's for the locals and have the same problems with parts. Folks have them but will not let go of them. I'm restoring a '28 Nash and parts are hard to find, but have found that all the Nigerian scammers have these parts,including Ford parts, in warehouses in the UK.

Tom, know your frustration in buying a piece of pig iron. I generally pick up one side about 2" and let it drop on concrete, if it rings it's probably not cracked, if it has a thud sound it's cracked
