This is probably a silly question but today I was replacing the emergency brake return springs as the old ones were broken. My question is what does the spring ride against to keep tension on the spring? I couldn't seem to find any spot for it and the spring slips off the arm and it spins...
What do you think guys? I started disassembly so I could replace the king pins and this is what the spindle looks like. Does the pitting really matter since it just holds grease?
There is a cotter pin sticking out of the bottom hole in the flywheel housing. It spins and doesn't seem to be attached to anything. Does it belong there or should I remove it? If it does belong what's it for?
Thanks
Jim
