FS: Set of NOS dually rear fenders for '33 or '34 BB

I bought this set of fenders for a project that took a different direction. These are NOS rear fenders for a Holmes wrecker. The inside stamp on the fenders indicate they are for 33-34 Ford chassis with a 131 WB (see picture). Apparently, Holmes had a selection of fenders to apply to their...

FOR SALE: 1930s/1940s Holmes Chariot-style Wrecker Bed

SUPER RARE Holmes 460 “chariot-style” wrecker body with teardrop fenders. Hard to find surviving examples of these – especially in New England (nearly every one I looked at prior to finding this one was rusted out beyond repair). I searched for nearly 3 years to find one for a 1933 “Model BB”...

Idle Screw - Running Issue on a '33 BB

Petehoovie - thank you, will get a vacuum gauge and do that. Was given a box full of old fuel pumps - could always swing test a few of those out if the vacuum test comes back negative and carb adjustments do nothing.

Idle Screw - Running Issue on a '33 BB

New fuel pump is from Mac's - went with later glass bowl style (that's what was on the engine when I got it and liked the ability to check sediment collection). Have not tested pressure. I can see no open ports on the 59A base, but will check again when I see the truck next. Don't have a...

Idle Screw - Running Issue on a '33 BB

Not really a matter of what makes me "feels good" as much as it is a matter of what makes the truck "run good." As I said, am new to V8s - but not new to early Fords (so I went with what a Service Bulletin recommended and that happened to be validated by my previous experience with As and Ts)...

Idle Screw - Running Issue on a '33 BB

Drbrown and Drolston - thank you both for giving me a rundown of additional things to check. The fuel pump and flex line are brand new, but will run those checks anyways (will also proof the metal line going into the tank which is original). Will also try the mixture procedure Drolston...

Idle Screw - Running Issue on a '33 BB

Carb is a Ford 59A (essentially the same as a Holley 94). Idle adjust screw touched the throttle lever at each point - screw is standard length of all adjusting screws I have seen. Truck only stays running when fully screwed in and idle is high. As I originally posted, will eventually stall...
