    Lucas Hub Oil

There's no information on the additive package in it. Is it like a GL-5 and hard on brass, etc. When doing long trips I'm trying to simplify my oils, and possibly not having to carry oil with me. Having readily available sources at local auto/truck stores would help that. Currently...

    Lucas Hub Oil

I see that Lucas makes a specific oil/additive for truck hubs. There's very little information on it's exact formulation that I can find, but it seems like it has seal swellers in it, and it's also thick. Really thick. Has anyone used/know anything about it? Is this what Model A vendors are...

    Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV)

What difference does it make if the air swirls to the left or to the right? On "modern" cars, like my '67 Galaxie, air goes into the oil filler cap, and the PCV is in the valve cover. Why would that not work on a Model A?

    Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV)

Couldn't you just drill a hole in the valve side cover, insert a grommet for the PCV valve? If you were going to use the Rock Auto alternative. Would simplify some hose routing.... Doesn't the PCV system make the car run a little leaner or richer? I can't remember which....

1930 Rear Main Cap Thread Dimension for Oil Tube

Snyder's list a 5/16 tube for 28-29 and a 3/8 tube for 30-31. I don't believe that it is a NPT thread, I think it would just be a straight fine thread. 3/8-24.

What exactly is the formed relief offered on Brassworks Radiators?

Does anyone tow a single wheel trailer behind their Model A?

Your picture shows it mounted differently than it's mounted on the Model A picture. The Model A pictures shows it mounted on the bumper "wings" probably 6 inches off of the actual bumper bracket that attaches to the car, hence the sideways bending moment, in the weaker direction of the bumper...

Does anyone tow a single wheel trailer behind their Model A?

I wouldn't mount it like that. You have an increased bending moment on the bumper arms. Attached to where the cross brace attaches I think would be better.. It would be interesting to see how the trailer wheel is mounted. Swivel? Spring loaded?

Who Likes The Best 509G Head Gasket?

Usually warm, and it usually overwhelms the tube, but you can block it if you want. The hard pull, like accelerating in too high a gear will push a lot gases into the radiator. It's a momentary pop up, it's like having a pressure gauge on the coolant system.

Who Likes The Best 509G Head Gasket?

Saran wrap held with a rubber band over the radiator fill. If it bulges up on a hard pull, you have a crack or bad head gasket.

    Brake Lining

McMaster-Carr sells linings, I would assume mostly for machinery clutches. But they list speeds, pressure, and coefficients of friction. Having numbers to put to lining materials might be more helpful than "Scandinavian" or whatever..... https://www.mcmaster.com/products/brake-lining/

    Keyed Ignition Switch

I know nothing of this switch, only seeing it from a search https://www.standardbrand.com/en/ecatalog?part=us1340&type=p&search=s But it's plastic, and has wires so has a better chance of not shorting, although I don't what it's dimensions are. There are a lot of keyed switches available at...
