Water out of manifold stud hole

I did re-torque but only once after heating the motor up. I will get some sealant for the stud tomorrow and also check the manifolds for trueness. Thank you for the replies. I thought I could use sealant, but wanted some more opinions. Again, thank you all.

Water out of manifold stud hole

I replaced the head gasket a few weeks ago, in time for the membership meet in Bay City. We had water leaking between block and head. Found out I put the copper gasket on upside down. A great head slapping duh moment for me. Carefully removed head and gasket, cleaned and sprayed with copper...

Water out of manifold stud hole

Okay, been working on my dad's 1930 Tudor. We recently replaced the exhaust manifold, new gaskets, studs, nuts, etc. Did a compression check today and #3 and #4 were under 50 psi. Compression check was from loss of power when accelerating in 3rd gear. Pulled the manifolds and the stud between...

WTB 28-29 Open car windshield frame

I am looking for an original 28-29 windshield frame with or without glass. It doesn't have to be perfect, but looking to do minimal restoration (i.e. surface rust is fine). Hopefully there is one out there.

Model A won't move in gear

So, I put it back on the ground and I was able to drive it forward and reverse. I chanced taking it out on our street (not busy) and drove it to the end of the block and back (about 1000 ft). Ran down the road fine and reverse to turn around fine. However, when I tried to accelerate, it would...

    7 tooth steering problem

Can you measure the pitman arm. Many times people shorten them to get better response out of the steering instead of fixing the real problem. A photo of the front axle where the drag link attaches would also be good. I will check lengths of mine in the morning here in Michigan and get back to you.

    Kudos for Bratton’s

Re: Kudos for Bratton’s I ordered from Bratton's on Tuesday morning. After working on some items, I remembered to order a couple other parts. When I called to add the parts, they already had my original order shipped out. Now that is super fast service!

Need to buy electric Wiper Motor

I need to find an OD-O1, O2, or O3 open car wiper motor. I prefer ready to put on, however, if you have one that needs rebuilding, I am not afraid of work. Thank you for your replies.

    A400 Resto-mod

The other body style close to the A400 is the Victoria. However, I concur that it maybe cheaper to get an A400.
