Thanks for the referral to Chuck's, I'll go to see him. The Mrs. says i have to see my '51 Vicky before i buy the '50. Vicky's a 34K mile Fordomatic & I want get back to a stick OD. Pete

I'd like to replace the 3 speed trans in a '50 Ford sedan with either an original type 3 speed OD or a 5 speed. Is there anyone in CT or surrounding area that you guys would recommend? Thanks, Pete

What is the correct transmission fluid for a '51 Fordomatic? Original manual states "Type A"; is that still correct for today's fluid? Thanks, Pete, Milford, CT

Received my C--- distributor last week & installed today & got the coil wires fouled up. Called Jim 3PM Sat. & he graciously straightened me out! My 33K mile '51 Vic runs like a 33K should! Excellent product, outstanding service. Big Pete, Milford, CT

flathead4rd, Talked w/Mark @ ECI (860) 872-7046) here in CT. They have kit for $450 but of course he recommended dual power MC but agreed that "disabling" the residual valve in MC would work but I would still need a 2lb valve for front & 10lb valve for rear. Did you actually remove residual...

New member Pete here. Just acquired nice '51 Vicky & would like to know best way to install front disc brakes. Most "kits" I've seen don't address whether master cylinder needs to be replaced. Please advise. Pete Henningsen, Milford, CT
