I put 650s on my BB and the front tires will foul with the brake rods in a sharp turn. 600 are 30 inches in diameter 650 are 34 inches in diameter which will give 5 to six mph in top gear. 750s will rub together.

I spent one whole day installing a rear window in my BB. That evening I went down to inspect my good works to find I had over-tightened the bolts and cracked the window!!! makes me wonder how it was done on the assembly line??

I have experienced cross-winds in my flatbed BB that make it feel like the front fenders are contemplating flight!

I made a floorboard for my BB out of plywood and sealed it with polyurethane. The coating soon turned yellow and people would ask "is the floor supposed to be yellow?" I got tired of answering and painted the floorboard with a generous coating of Herculiner. No more questions and it looks great!

Both 131.5 and 157 trucks are 1.5 ton.

The 32 t0 36 engine and chassis repair manual has a section on page 43-44 that indicates that the standard tire size is 600/20 with an option for 700/20 for heavy duty service. The 700/20 option requires changing the wheel hubs to maintain a correct camber adjustment. I run 650 tires on my BB...
