Been a long couple months for me and just now getting home and kinda dialed in.
Early April ( my 70th birthday) i was put in hospital with Eosinophilic Pneumonia, after a couple trips to and from hospital kidney numbers showed stage four kidney failure. (short story)
Seems my oil pump is fine but the fuel pump and filter has quit. ( Maybe Charlie could help me here?)
Just finished my 6th dialysis treatment yesterday and looks like i will have one every other day for ever . Pretty happy just to be here discussing this :D

Havent been to the shop since i got home (thats on my thursday plan after treatment) but heres my plan of attack.......

1-I have a few unopened boxes and orders that i recieved while in hospital, those will be returned to sender . (sorry maybe later )

2-All other orders in shop have now been processed , cleaned and ready to reassemble by Terry my part time guy . Those will be completed in due time as my health allows , but my goal is to get them all done !!!

3-I will try my very best to respond to any questions as time goes on......

Sounds like you've had a rough go of it Jim! Best of luck and glade to hear you are at least home.

Jim, You hang in there and make taking care of Jim your priority. I admire your dedication and integrity. God Bless you and your family. I am sure all Fordbarners are pulling for you.

Hey Jim:

Thanks for letting us know. Sorry to hear about your health issues, but glad you are to report to us if you catch my drift.

Health and family are priorities #1 and what you need to do to take care of either is what you need to do.

I wish you all the best!

Tim

Jim parts are parts and distributors are distributors... They are all just material items for a recreational hobby.

Your health is more important! Take Care!!

Hi Jim
Sorry to hear of your condition, getting old has it's problems. I know, bad back, bad hip and shortness of breath. Make a short day of work. I commend you on all the good you've doe for the flathead movement, you make a difference . improving the running of our beloved engine. Anytime you can help someone, you have a good day, you've had many.

Jim, sorry to hear of your kidney problem. I too, go to dialysis 3 days a week, I've been going since the end of last August. I go at 5:30 AM, and I am usually out by 9:45 AM. It gives me the rest of the day, if I am up to it. I am 78 years old, and I still try to do whatever I can, although a little slower. Do what you can. If some customers are in a hurry, and can't wait, tell them to go elsewhere. Your health is your most important thing for you to worry about, not some one's parts. Do what you can, and be thankful for the dialysis treatment. I don't like it, either, but you know the alternative.

Really sorry to hear about your health issues. Prayers offered here too Jim. The others have said it all well. Be encouraged and take care of yourself! mike
